Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear to an appointment?

The only session that requires specific clothing would be "Shiatsu". For which you would wear comfortable/athletic type attire that you can move freely in. Any other attire is acceptable for other sessions as long as it is comfortable for you and easy to remove and put back on.

Do I need to get consistent massage to see results?

Depending on your objective for massage, multiple sessions might be necessary to reach your specific goal. For example, a chronic injury would take more sessions than someone looking to relax or help an acute injury.

Do I have to completely undress for my appointment?

It is not necessary to fully undress for you massage session. That is something that is completely up to your comfort level, even if you chose to stay fully clothed.

What if I need to stop during the massage?

There is never a problem if you need to stop during your massage, whether it be for comfortability, bathroom visits or any other reason.

What should I do after my massage?

This can vary per person or depending on the type of massage you receive. I will likely give "homework" stretches to do, but as a general rule of thumb it is always good to stay hydrated afterward.
